How We Treat Shoulder Pain Using the Full Body Approach

Updated: Mar 10, 2019

At Joseph S Luk Physical Therapy, we specialize in all sorts of orthopedic disorders and the shoulder is no exception. Shoulder pain treatment can get tricky because there are so many moving parts to the extremity as well as the joint’s being inherently unstable to begin with.

In the video, I take a look at other driving sources that can cause shoulder pain outside of the shoulder. The shoulder joint is made up of the upper arm bone (humerus) and the shoulder blade (scapula). If the scapula isn't moving or spinning, then you have to look at all the possible bony and muscular connections that are limiting the bone.

If you are a person who has shoulder pain or had treatment for shoulder pain without long-term improvement, then please watch the video. Hopefully, we can open your eyes to other areas that need to be addressed to fix your shoulder pain.

If you need help with your shoulder pain, don't hesitate to contact us. We are located at 500 N. Central Ave, Suite 350, Glendale, CA 91203. Our phone number is 818-240-5012.
